Mary Hardy
With over four decades of dedicated practice, Mary is a seasoned martial artist and educator committed to the mastery of both internal and external disciplines.
In 1997, she achieved the rank of 4th-degree Black Belt in Combined Kenpo Karate, followed by the prestigious designation of Master Instructor in 2003. A passionate teacher, she spent over a decade mentoring both children and adults, sharing the discipline and focus inherent in traditional martial arts.
Broadening her expertise into internal styles, she spent ten years (2004–2014) studying Yang-style Taiji, Taiji Fan and Sword under the guidance of Lin Lin Choy Furry. In 2007, she earned a Teacher Competency Training Certificate in the Yang Style 24 form under the world-renowned Professor Li Deyin. In 2025 she received her Taiji Teacher Certificate from the American Sports and Fitness Association. To further refine her practice, Mary has participated in numerous advanced seminars focused on Taiji, Qi Gong, and the Dao Yin Yang Shen Gong system, blending decades of combat experience with the healing arts of movement and breath.
