I have worked in the education profession for 20 years and bring that wealth of experience and knowledge to the dojo.

I arrived at Bodyworks in 1987 as a green belt student. I'd previously studied at our sister Northern Shaolin Karate Assn school in Manchester. I earned my 1st degree Black Belt in 1990 and most recently earned my 8th degree.

Additionally I coach the Bodyworks Demonstration Team, and have done so since its inception almost 20 years ago.

I've instructed hundreds of students over span of 38 years, including my own son who rose to the rank of 5th degree Black Belt and Executive Instructor.

It is the family atmosphere at Bodyworks that drew me in. Some of my dearest friends were fellow students, and my son has lifelong friends he met on the mat.

Our son, who is 8 and the youngest of three, has never gotten into whatever sports his older brothers (15, 13) have tried. He has been attending Bodyworks since the end of December and he absolutely loves it. He enjoys his classes, his instructors, and makes an effort to participate and learn his techniques. This has been wonderful for him physically, socially, and emotionally, and we are looking forward to watching him learn and grow in this activity. Thank you to all the staff for everything you do!

Highly recommend Bodyworks Martial Arts.The instructors really take the time to work with my son to make sure he feels comfortable with the skills presented during each class.I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for everything you've done to help my son throughout the years Mrs. Page💕. All of the instructors are fantastic! They spend time with all of the kids and make karate a lot of fun.My son have been training here for roughly 1 year, and the technique they've learned in a short period is amazing. The coaches keep the classes fun and engaging for kids, but with great structure. My son really look forward to training daily.

My 5 year old son was very skeptical of his first private session but Ms. Holly made him feel very comfortable and as each session went on, he needed less and less direct attention from her. :) He has been practicing for 2 months now and is still enjoying it.

The little mile stones that Bodyworks offers is a great way to keep younger kiddos focused and working toward the next goal. I would highly recommend Bodyworks should you be looking for a school that works hard to foster a positive experience!
