Martial Arts and Music have been lifelong constants in my life, shaping who I am as much as the job I do each day as a Mailman. My martial arts journey began as a teenager when I paid for my own lessons and biked to Fred Villari’s, determined to train despite obstacles. Just before earning my purple belt, an accident forced me to stop, and soon after, I left for Army basic training. Years later, the fire still burned, and I returned to training at Bodyworks, working my way up the ranks and up the instructor levels. I was scheduled to test for my 5th-degree black belt when life once again forced me to step away again for about five years. But when something is in your blood, you always find your way back, and today, I continue my journey training under Mr. Hardy and alongside one of the very few remaining from my early days. I’m currently 5th degree black belt, and Godan level executive instructor.
